The Casale Santa Brigida is a bed & breakfast in southern Umbria. Located on 7 acres of organic ascolana olive trees and a 5-minute drive from Calvi dell’Umbria (about 45 minutes northeast of Rome), A client of mine, the Art Monastery Project, took over the Casale in 2008 to serve as a space where they could run workshops, youth camps and meditation/yoga retreats. With a permaculture garden, an industrial kitchen and a large restaurant and bar, the Casale also has allowed the Art Monastery to feed “artmonks” during its yearly Art Monastery Festival.
I built this website for them to help them market market workshops and the amazing space itself.
They must be doing something right—they’re in the 2010 Lonely Planet for Umbria as a “Must Visit” destination!
